This tour is a walking tour from the Old Market to the Dutch Quarter. The focus is on the thousand-year history of Potsdam, from the Prussian kings to the socialist planned economy to the present day. The most important sights, such as the Old Market, the City Palace, the Film Museum, Brandenburger Straße and the Dutch Quarter are on this tour. This makes it perfect for a first entry and for Potsdam explorers with less time.

The largest tour I offer connects Potsdam city center with Sanssouci Park. It is therefore ideal for visitors who want to get a deeper overview.

The starting point is also the old market, from there it goes over the city canal to Bassinplatz. The tour then continues in the direction of the Brandenburg Gate before heading over the Green Grid into Sanssouci Park. A walk through the Royal Gardens concludes the tour.

 Sacred buildings in the Prussian residence city

The various Potsdam churches, of different denominations, are the focus of this tour. They offer an exciting history, as well as impressive architecture and considerable art treasures. Nevertheless, this tour is quite a unique offer, because the churches of this city are not yet the focus of most visitors. It goes from the Nikolai Church, through the French Church, the St. Peter and Paul Church to the Friedenskirche.

 This tour focuses on the southern side of Potsdam. Hardly any other city north of the Alps offers such a wealth of classic architecture and art inspired by Italy. From the Old Market, with its Palazzo Barberini and Chiericati, it goes to Sanssouci Park. In addition to your own legs, you also use public transport.

This walk takes you through part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Prussian Palace Gardens and Parks. For more than 300 years, kings and emperors tried to create a piece of paradise on earth here in Potsdam. Different gardens, each with their own character, have emerged, such as the Sicilian Garden in Park Sanssouci, the Gothic Piramid in the New Garden, the Belvedere on Pfingstenberg or the Babelsberg Palace Park. One or two gardens can be visited on each of these tours.

No place in Potsdam stands for this time like the Glienicke Bridge, the "Bridge of Spies". This tour takes you from the Glienicke Bridge to Cecilienhof Palace and ends at the former KGB branch.
